We have beeen saying that since 2001 when our organization was founded with the slogan "just down the road." Being within five hours of Washington DC, Hartford, Philadelphia, New York City, and Toronto the Finger Lakes is the ultimate road trip: close and affordable!
We don't like to brag but we were thrilled when we picked up the 2010 Rand McNally road atlas and saw that Finger Lakes Wine Country was included in the Best of the Road road trip section, "Cultivating New York, Canandauigua to Cooperstown". This special editor's picks section highlights a road trip that includes stops at The Corning Museum of Glass and the Esperanza Mansion on Keuka Lake.
